1-minute summary

In this episode, Christoph Standl talks about why it is necessary to learn to let go of things. He explains that this week has been especially intense at Tourismus Interaktiv, as the team works on a major update to the platforms Tourismus One and Infopoints.com, with artificial intelligence in coding opening up entirely new possibilities. He recalls that as founder he used to handle many tasks himself, but says the company can only grow further if responsibility is distributed better, otherwise bottlenecks arise. He notes that AI is fundamentally changing collaboration: goals are defined, tasks described, and results evaluated together, even though not everything works perfectly yet. He stresses that building trust matters more than perfecting every detail. Time, he says, remains the most valuable resource, requiring clear priorities to achieve more together. He closes by asking which tasks people still hold onto themselves although they could already be shared or delegated.

Description

This week at Tourismus Interaktiv is particularly intense. We are working on a major update of our platforms Tourismus.one and Infopoints.com, and in the process we are experiencing the incredible possibilities artificial intelligence now opens up in software development.

In this episode of my CEO Diary, I talk about why we, as entrepreneurs and as a team, need to learn to hand over tasks and responsibility.

Thanks to AI agents and new automations, we can now drive forward developments that would have required far more time and resources in the past. At the same time, we need to learn to set clear priorities, evaluate results together, and not try to perfect every single detail ourselves.

Because letting go does not mean giving up responsibility. It means reshaping how we work together to achieve more as a team.

The greatest progress sometimes comes not from doing even more ourselves, but from learning to work together differently.🎙️ CEO Diary · Episode 68 📅 November 4, 2026 💡 Theme week: Time is our most valuable asset
