TI CEO Podcast · episode 42
Why twelve years of experience are now becoming especially valuable
1-minute summary
Christoph Standl talks in this episode about the conclusion of Tourismus Interaktiv's twelfth financial year and the start of the thirteenth. He explains that the company relied on cloud technologies from the very beginning, which over the years created a valuable digital foundation of data, documents, knowledge and experience. He states that this foundation is now becoming especially valuable, since artificial intelligence builds on exactly such groundwork. He reports that the company has therefore worked intensively on the TI Company Point, aiming to increasingly connect systems, data and processes with AI agents. The cloud, he says, was never the final goal but the basis for the next stage of development. Standl describes the goal of positioning the company for more than a thousand customers, with the long-term ambition of reaching five to ten thousand customers worldwide, which requires strengthening equity and expanding the shareholder base. At the same time, he emphasizes that these possibilities come with responsibility, and calls for using AI to benefit society. Finally, he thanks everyone who has accompanied the company over the past twelve years.
Description
Tomorrow our fiscal year at Tourismus Interaktiv ends. For me, a good moment to reflect on what has actually emerged over twelve years.
Besides products, customers and projects, we have built up a digital foundation over many years: cloud technologies, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, structured data, processes and more and more digital knowledge.
With artificial intelligence, this groundwork suddenly gains new meaning. The cloud was not the end goal. It was the foundation. Today we are beginning to connect this base with our Company Brain and AI agents.
This episode is therefore about twelve years of experience, the next stage of development for Tourismus Interaktiv, and also the responsibility that comes with AI. Because for me, it shouldn't just be about becoming more efficient and successful with AI. We should also use this technology to make our society a little bit better.
And to close, I'd like to use this episode to say thank you: to our employees, customers, partners, suppliers, developers, shareholders, supporters, friends, family, and everyone who has accompanied Tourismus Interaktiv over the past twelve years.
No one builds twelve years of entrepreneurship alone.
And remember: big changes often start with small daily steps.
