1-minute summary

In this episode, Christoph Standl talks about what he would do if he could freely manage his time. He mentions that he has not taken a single week off in 2026, but that working from the mountain hut already gave him a taste of freedom. He stresses that his goal is not to work less, but to decide himself when, where and on what he works. At Tourismus Interaktiv, he explains, they are building workflows where the team and AI agents take on more responsibility, so the company increasingly runs independently. Travel, he says, is central to this freedom, combined with his vision of reaching customers worldwide. At the same time, Tyrol and the mountains remain important to him. He views artificial intelligence as a chance to turn saved time into freedom rather than more work. For him, success means building a company that functions without his constant presence, while living a self-determined life.

Description

What does true freedom mean to me as an entrepreneur? And what would my life look like if I could completely decide for myself when, where, and on what I work?

In this 70th episode of my CEO Diary, I look ahead and talk about my personal vision: working independent of time and place, traveling the world, getting to know new cultures, and at the same time being internationally successful with Tourismus Interaktiv.

In my life, I want to discover as many countries as possible – and one day see our products in use in as many countries around the world as possible. Visiting customers, building new partnerships, and combining my passion for travel with my profession.

At the same time, at Tourismus Interaktiv we want to build a company that increasingly operates independently, with a strong team, clear processes, and intelligent AI agents.

Because artificial intelligence doesn't just give us the opportunity to become more productive. It can also help us gain more personal freedom.

My goal is not to simply work less at some point. I want to be able to decide for myself when, where, and on what I work.

With this personal vision of the future, we conclude our theme week about our most valuable asset: our time.
