TI CEO Podcast · episode 66
Why time is more valuable than money
1-minute summary
In this episode, Christoph Standl talks about why time is more valuable to him than money. He explains that the alpine pasture season has come to an end, and that despite intense work, he experienced greater freedom there, as Starlink allowed him to decide for himself where to work. He says he appreciates this more consciously now than before. With winter approaching, a phase of focus begins, during which Tourismus Interaktiv aims to make significant progress before Christmas. Artificial intelligence plays a key role here, automating routine tasks and opening up new possibilities even for small teams. For him, it's not just about productivity, but about gaining time for creative, fulfilling work. Money can be earned and lost, but time cannot be regained, which is why he wants to decide more consciously how he spends it. He closes by inviting listeners to reflect on what their own ideal workday would look like.
Description
The alpine pasture season is over. Behind me lies an intensive summer in which I was able to move Tourismus Interaktiv forward significantly – and at the same time experience a new kind of freedom.
Whether it was a morning, an afternoon, or a whole working day in the mountains: I noticed that it's not necessarily about working less, but about being able to decide for yourself when, where, and with what you spend your time.
In this episode, I talk about how my understanding of success has changed after more than twelve years of entrepreneurship, what new freedoms artificial intelligence enables for us, and why I'm looking forward to the intense weeks until Christmas.
Because in the end: money can be earned again. Our time we never get back.🎙️ Episode 66 of my CEO Diary📅 Monday, November 2, 2026Theme week: "Time is our most valuable capital"
